This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

Beautifully situated, among the jungle and a garden embedded in it. We arrived quite late, but despite this they waited for us and offered us dinner! The caretaker of the facility is a very nice gentleman who cares a lot about the well-being of his guests. The guesthouse is decorated in a uniform style that matches the surroundings. Every detail is thought out. The rooms are spotlessly clean, always with a view of the jungle (some, like ours, also have a balcony). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast - fruit and a chosen form of egg. It was a sufficient portion for us. In addition, coffee / tea / juice. It was wonderful for us to wake up in such surroundings and start the day like this. Although the monkeys jumped on the roof of our building, it was an additional attraction for us. I would like to visit such places more often. Hidden gems with excellent service.

This family is just awesome, as well as the rooms! You have the whole downstairs area for yourself. The mother is a great cook and prepares authentic sri lanka food! Hemantha & Lalith were just great hosts! They have really looked after me and were making sure I have a comfortable stay. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe and they were a great company as well. The location is great (out of town), quiet and relaxing, I have spotted monkeys and squirells roaming around, lot of birds. The facilities were clean, the tent as well. Make sure you do kayak in the afternoon for sunset it is just beautiful and worth the money! Mr. Lasantha, the manager has also made sure I have everything I need and arranged my dinner delivery to the camp, highly appreciated! Only the pillows and towels need some refreshing.

Amazing garden, very cool area, and nice rooms. And most of all, very cool staff. Extremely helpful and nice! Also we had visit from monkeys and cute dogs. We slept comfortably. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night - we would've loved to stay longer. Do not miss out on the pahathudawa waterfall just close by.

beautiful bungalow, awesome view, quiet naturey location, a beautiful waterfall in walking distance, and more places further around. Very nice couple that looks after the place and cooks. We had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend it.

The room/ cottage was lovely , the fed was super comfortable and the bathroom was really great with a powerful shower. The location of the cottage was so peaceful and quiet and you could hear any sounds from the road. Dirula went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed particularly a Wi-Fi router to help with some difficult personal issues we were having to deal with. Much appreciated. He also organised a driver to take us to Worlds End Hike. Cannot fault our short stay here.
