Very comfortable and modern room - with both AC and fan, also some insect repellent devices in place and a fridge. Super nice and big bed. Semi outdoor bathroom with a lot of privacy - a great shower experience. Good breakfast as well, and very nice staff. The place is located between two great beaches - Pasikuda and Kalkudah.

We loved everything here. Very charming property by the beach with really beautiful furnitures and very comfortable. The staff is amazing, they are caring, they do everything for you to feel good and have the best experience. They spot every detail for you. The chef deserves a micheline star. The food experience was delicious. It is the perfect place to recharge. Thank you to the staff of kalkudah beach house for making this place a wonderful moment for us.

The host treated us as if we were guests of the grand hotel. I felt as if I had a personal concierge. There was contact with the owner all the time via WhatsApp. He showed interest in whether everything was ok. There is the option to buy very tasty food - no point in eating out - at our host's the breakfasts and lunches were phenomenal and all on site and at the hour we wanted. Sensational avocado cocktail - the best drink I had in Sri Lanka. The host helped us with finding transport to the beach. I had a need to go to the hairdresser and our host organised a haircut for me - he then drove me over and acted as a translator between me and the hairdresser. And then he drove me back to my accommodation by motorbike. In addition, he constantly showed interest in whether we needed anything. He was a great inroller regarding Sri Lanka. The rooms were very clean, air conditioning in each bedroom. A comfortable sofa in the living room. Garden at your disposal. If you are passing through in Batticaloa and need accommodation I would confidently recommend this place and the host. My sincere and warm greetings to him.

A lovely well furnished room with all the essentials including great Aircon, and very clean! Tucked away at the sleepy seaside I had a great night here. The family who run the home were super friendly and fun to chat with. They also helped me with my slightly complicated bus route for the next day. The location of the hotel was quiet and located only 200m from the beach. The room was equipped basically but with everything you need. It was clean. The cordial couple running the hotel were always friendly, helpful and courteous. All requests regarding transportation, travel advice and extra requests were fulfilled immediately. We would come back at any time.

The location is very calm and quiet. The apartment is surrounded by a nice garden. The apartment is very clean and modern. The entire staff took extremely good care of me and has assisted me with any kind of request (from booking a Tuk Tuk/bike, to preparing very reach and tasty breakfast/lunches/dinners). They were very nice and gentle.
