We loved the location of Wanakaset Forest glamping right in the heart of the forest which afforded us amazing views of the hills from our balcony room. The food was plentiful and delicious and the ladies in the kitchen incredibly hospitable. We ventured out on a trek with Banda who was passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We would highly recommend a stay in this forest sanctuary.

Absolutely wonderful to stay here. After a long flight from The Netherlands we wanted to get out of colombo and went straight here. Very nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep in mind that you're off the main road and are not close to any shop. Relaxation is key here. Staff is very friendly and will happily tell you about their location, tea plantations they own and manage, and also the food! 😁

It was one of the best value for money places i have ever stayed. The rooms are big with a lot of light and high ceiling that makes the whole experience more luxurious. We took the family room so we had 2 rooms together. They serve a huge breakfast! Deva and Sandun are 2 lovely people always at your service even with their limited english. Not to forget that there is a pool (very clean) and an amazing view from both the sides of the property.

Beautiful mansion in the middle of greenery with centennial trees overshading the house and pool. Perfect location for digital detox: no TV, no A/C, but the nature sounds and cooling canopy provide for better views, sounds and breeze. The swimming pool and adjacent patio are awesome for after dips and drinks. Just bear in mind to bring mosquito repellent as in all locations in this area.
