So many wonderful details that made this our perfect stay: - 12 different bird sounds recorded during breakfast (we have an app) - Pool beautiful with lovely lounge chairs and shade umbrellas - EXCEPTIONAL FOOD! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here our entire stay because it was so well done - Fresh cut flowers in the room - Full luscious live plants in the bathroom to mimic the beauty out our front patio - Large fridge and coffee and tea amenities - Luxurious stand alone tub under a sky light was well used by me - Soft full towels and bathmats - Very large room and bathroom which were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN - CLOSE to everything one travels to Anuradhapura to see; not close to the town, but no need to go to the town - Each unit has its own koi pond with plants But the best of all was the warm and genuine service. Truly a diamond.

The place is small, only one room and a kitchen a a chill out zone outside, but man does it feel nice to be there! Probably one of the best felt places ive stayed in Sri Lanka, John D is a super nice guy who treats you like a friend and the size of the place creates a very comfy and intimate athmosphere. Everything was fantastic! The hotel hosts had to give our room away to other guests and were so kind to find another lovely room for us for an even better price. The rooms are very beautiful and have everything you may need during your stay, including a hairdryer, a kettle, complimentary water bottles, coffee and tea etc. Also, the shower has nice pressure and warm water, which is often not the case in Sri Lanka from my experience. Their breakfast is very cheap, delicious and offers a nice variety of local ingredients. The hosts are also very friendly and happy to help you with anything you may need. Definitely would stay here again. :)

The lady of the house is very friendly and helpful. She makes a very welcoming atmosphere. She cooks excellent meals herself, so we recommend her cooking classes although we didn't try them, our visit was too short to cook. The room was clean and spacy, with wifi and airconditioning. The vicinity was pleasantly quiet. We loved her garden and the garden kitchen where meals were made and served.

I would stay here again for the breakfast alone, wow! After staying in Sri Lanka for three weeks I can say this was our best breakfast we have had. Besides this, the family running it is super friendly and helpful, giving us a lot of tips and recommendations. The room was spacious and clean.
