We loved our stay at the Vegetable Garden House. It was a beautiful house and our room was very nice and tidy. The hosts were very kind and we enjoyed delicious home cooked meals made by the family with some veges from thee garden. It was also very close to Adams Peak, we were able to easily walk there the morning of our hike.

The owner - young guy Chathu is a fantastic host experienced in tourism industry, its a homestay where the family stays downstairs and we have the top all for us with 3 large rooms attached bath rooms with hot water and an extra-large open balcony area to chill, work, read overlooking the water tank through the pine forest, chatus families coking ability is expectational!!! ask for the traditional srilankan rice breakfast and you wont regret, and they do fantastic BBQs, ask chathu for the sight seeing he will take you or direct you, one of our team members got down with his own medical condition and the family came to rescue and send off the guy and his bicycle safely to colombo, all in all food & location was fantastic, safe and clean place for both local and international travelers

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me as a solo traveller They even lent me a torch for climbing up Sri Pada at night and even prepared snacks for the journey. The whole family chipped on helping at different points, so friendly and respectful. The food was delicious and a swim in the cool pool after the overnight hike was simply delightful. Loved it!
