If you go to Koh Rong Samloen, stay at seashell! The owners are both so friendly and welcoming. Even if you forget something they will do their absolute best to bring it back to you ;). The location (M'pai bay) is lovely, lots of good food, snorkel facilities, locals living their life, everyone just chilling and very confortable bean bags ;).

The location is great, right on the beach. We booked the deluxe room and loved the outside bath area. The staff were lovely, from the beginning when they picked us up from the pier and took us on the tractor to the resort. The manager clearly works hard to ensure that guests are comfortable.

We loved it all! Make sure to keep in touch with Kirsten and Tasha as you make your way there, good to get guidance of how to get to the guesthouse/which boat to take etc. We went the hard way after not seeing their messages but it was totally worth it! Great location, just a couple minutes from the beach and fifteen from the rock pool (get directions from Tash, made it so easy for us). Food and cocktails at the Dragonfly are to die for. We also loved the little family restaurant just a couple strides down the road, some of the best meals we've had at very affordable prices. The island itself is breathtaking, we couldn't believe we were so lucky to see it with our own eyes. If you're not from the countryside or an island yourself you might find theres not much to do but being island girls ourselves it was a home away from home. So tranquil. A place to relax and reflect and meet lovely locals. There's the option to party also if you wish. Kirsten and Tash made us feel so welcome, comfortable and right at home, so nice to hear stories from someone from Scotland making a life here! We'll definitely be back if we get the chance! What a paradise after a 45 min hike. We had the ocean-view tent which was literally a few steps from the beach. Felt so peaceful to sleep with the sound of the waves. The hosts are super approachable. They have limited food menus but HANDS DOWN, they are the best amongst their neighbours. Woodfire pizza here is by far the best we had in Cambodia. And yes, the sunset view feels like a paradise.

Oh, what can I say... coming to Robinson really is like leaving the world behind you. Even the fact that internet comes and goes kinda suits the life here. This is not the place (or island) to stay if you need to be working online. And it's just as well. Parts of the island is being developed by some huge company, so I would say go here if you can, cause God knows how long this gem will be able to keep the tranquility. The staff is great, Silvana down in the beach bar.. everyone ❤️ Love you guys

I had a wonderful time at Sea Poe Tree! The owners are incredibly kind and take great care of their guests. I felt very comfortable in the bungalow I stayed in, and the bed was really cozy. Everything feels very personal there. When I didn’t return from an excursion in the evening, they even called the company that organized it and found out that we had run aground on a coral reef on our way back. They came with their own boat to pick me up. In a hotel, no one would probably even notice if you didn’t return. They were truly so caring. They also offer a pickup service from Saracen Bay for just 5 dollars.The food in the on-site restaurant is also delicious.
