I was out and about in Banlung, looking for a place to book jungle treks from. So I was able to compare this to a lot of other places and I would say, you can barely get a better accommodation than here. It's kinda overlooked for how much you get for such a little pricetag. The breakfast was also really nice, and quite cheap also. Could be a littler closer to the city, but I really liked it being out of the way and in a relaxed corner on the edge of Ratanakiri village. The room was equipped quite nicely and the bed was super comfy. Slept really well here (using earplugs tho, you will have dogs barking - but thats pretty much always the case in any guesthouse out here.)

Smey is a knowledgeable friendly helpful owner who effortly organised trips to sights and a day hike for us, plus onward travel. The food is great and freshly prepared with good variety for evening meals. The garden surrounds are lovely. Best place ever in Cambodia. The family is amazing, the kids are amazing, places around just waaaoow, waterfalls and lake, get lost around with a scooter is so nice. If you stay here, just have dinner all night with the guests and family. Best food ever in Cambodia, Nita is an amazing cooker. Take time to play with the kids, bring them to the lake or waterfall for have fun with them. I just arrived here randomly for 3-4 days, now it's more than 10 days i am here. I will come back for sure !

Ratanakiri Homestay is a really beautiful family-owned business that has some great private bungalows and from where you begin your jungle trekking adventure. The family were the sweetest, friendliest and warm people I've met from other places I stayed in Cambodia. We shared a Christmas dinner together, which was really lovely. The room was comfortable and had a mosquito net. There was wifi, which helped plan my trip for after the trek. There was also a shop nearby, where you can buy snacks and drinks. Highly recommend staying here as you will enjoy every moment.

The host was great, he came to get us to the bus and then helped us with the problems that we were not allowed to cross the border into Vietam - even though we had visas. He ordered a bus for us and helped us. I really recommend it.

I liked everything, really clean and typical place, a special thanks to Sophorn, who helped me when I went through difficulties with my money He not only accepted not to ask money when he prepared me the lunches I couldn't afford anymore, or bring le to town cause I couldn't pay the tuktuk, but also helped me to solve them several times This place deserves more people He booked me into a nice trek in the jungle, I'll never forget 🙏

An excellent place to stay if you want value for money. Central location, clean enough, cheap rooms and reasonably priced 1-7 night treks to The national park. We did a 2 night trek which was tough but rewarding. The owner joined us himself. His cute dog came too. Owner can handle any bus tickets etc. and they have a water refilling point.
