The owners were so friendly and caring! It was such a lovely experience staying with them! If you want to have a relaxing day in a countryside area and just want to experience the laid back life there I recommend you to stay there. Besides it's not far to go to lake biwa by a little walking and to go to imazu to catch a ferry to chikubu Island.

We stayed at the Farm Inn Sanzaemon for a single night as a break from the rush from the big cities. And what a break it was! The family who runs the inn showed almost endless hospitality, and they were so kind and wholesome. A lovely couple indeed! The Inn itself is a big traditional Japanese house with tatami mats and a wooden interior, which just looks amazing. The room we slept in had a view of the sun rising in the morning and a serene view over the fields of rice and vegetables growing in the countryside. We were so happy choosing to stay at this Farm Inn. It has been nothing short of an incredible experience, staying there and meeting this lovely family.

This property was absolutely amazing. It felt like a traditional Japanese home. The property featured 2 bedrooms and 3 family rooms for a total for 5 rooms. There was so much room. The property was very clean. It also had one of the best bathtubs i have ever used. i am 6'2" and it was the first bathtub i could fit in. Plus it had a setting where you could keep the water at a constant temperature. It also had modern washing machine and dryer.

Keys were easy to collect. The host gave plenty of information by text message. The property is clean and spacious. It had everything you need for cooking, washing and sleeping. Garbage bins are in every room as well for convenience. It has a concrete yard where we did a BBQ and fireworks. There is a very natural area 100 metres away where you can walk on the beach of lake Biwa. Good access to Kyoto and North coast. McDonalds and Conbini 5 mins drive away. I would rate 9/10 but I am giving a bonus point because I left my scuba mask and the kind host took time to send it back to my house. Excellent!

The owners were so friendly and caring! It was such a lovely experience staying with them! We stayed at the Farm Inn Sanzaemon for a single night as a break from the rush from the big cities. And what a break it was! I met the owner, Iki, who was very friendly and accommodating. Her house is lovely with all the facilities that we need. It has parking spot that can fit 2 MPVs. The house has good heater system (we went in winter), washer, tatami & beds, kitchen for us to cook with basic appliances. The location is about 10-15mins away from the Hakodateyama Gondola (our main target was Mt Hakodateyama to play snow). The house was easy to find as per the google map's direction.
