Very beautiful place. the beds are very comfortable, and the hostel is very clean. Very nice human experience, the owner takes the time to chat with you, and to share his knowledge of the region and Japan. very nice experience! The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. The accommodation itself was absolutely beautiful; because I am traveling with my pet, I was in the Annex, which exceeded my wildest dreams in terms of comfort and privacy. The town is a small seaside area in a quiet bay, with a gorgeous Shinto temple and absolutely beautiful historic area. I can't wait to come back once I'm better at Japanese, I suspect there's much more to be discovered in this area! Oooh, and oh my god, the food! I went for the half board, and was absolutely blown away by the variety, quality, and presentation of my meals. I am so grateful for my time here.

The guesthouse is as clean as a home, and the manager of the guesthouse is such a nice person. He speaks English well, and communication with him was very easy. He even dropped us off at the Matsue Station on the last day. The toilets and the bathroom was always clean although the guesthouse was quite busy on our last two days.

The pillow and bed are comfy. There is roof window. The host is friendly and helpful. The location is good. (The nearest bus stop is City Hall, one can take the buses to Kaike Onsen and Daisenji from this bus stop, no need go to Yonago Station).

Excellent tatami room in a guesthouse in Matsue. It is close to Matsue Castle and well connected to other areas, including Matsue Station, by bus. There are some great restaurants about 10 minutes’ walk away and a nice bakery close by for breakfast. Emi-san is an exceptional host who is very welcoming and gives great advice to help you enjoy your stay. I would absolutely recommend.
