This was hands down the best accommodation I’ve had in Japan. Not only was the location amazing - you can SEE Mt Fuji FROM your hotel room even on ground floor - but the beds were so warm and comfortable. The rooms have a key code system so no need to worry about losing a key. It also made checking in at 11pm a breeze. When I return to Mt Fuji, I will no doubtably be staying here again.

I loved the place, its vibe, it's coziness, cleanliness, facilities, comfortable bedroom with futon beds, free wifi, parking space, ease of access, lovely mural/graffiti of the town with Mt.Fuji as a backdrop in the dining/living room. The indoor shrine made this japanese stay even more japanese!

This was honestly one of the best stays I've ever had. The owner was kind and informative. The apartment was fantastic, a fair size with kitchenette, two double beds, microwave, oven, kettle and spare sockets. The beds were comfortable and with extra blankets. The location was pretty much perfect, if you're walking there you'd think you've gone for miles but it's actually only 40 minutes from kawaguchiko station. Quiet and dark at night making sleep easy. The owner also offers bike rentals if you are so inclined. Also although the apartment doesn't have a direct view of mount Fuji, as you walk to the lake or station you'll find a bunch of great photo opportunities.

What a fantastic stay! The Mobile Cottage has an excellent floor plan, utilizing the space cleverly to make it comfortable and spacious. It has every comfort you would need and is very well located, a 6 min walk from the station. Best of all, it has direct views of Mt Fuji, which we were so lucky to have a picture perfect view of. I would definitely stay here again, given half the chance!
