This is a wonderful calm hotel with great interior design, spacious rooms, pleasant facilities (like the complimentary drinks and the food vending), a helpful and friendly reception, a good breakfast (though only bento boxes). Nikko is an amazing place with the nature, hot springs, and the world heritage temples, such a lot of things to explore.

Super great host!! He was so nice. The accommodation has everything and I felt very welcomed. It is a 10 min walk from the Imaichi train stations. The private room is extremely comfortable and in Japanese style. The dorms were also great but not so comfortable because moving in your bed affects the other 3 people in the dorm. The 4 beds are part of one single structure, similar to a capsule dorm.

The accommodation was very well clean, organised and well equipped. I wish I stayed there for a week so that I could make full use of the kitchen equipments and bathtub. The foldable doors were great as we could enjoy the private backyard in the mornings and evenings to get fresh air.

Mariko's kindness is absolutely outstanding, even for Japanese standards. She is one of the best, if not the best host we have ever had the luck to meet. She even prepared a delicious breakfast for us and drove us to the train station because we were in a bit of a hurry. The lodging is simple yet lovely, cozy, in a great location and super clean.
