Super friendly host welcomed us with a big smile and patiently explained everything to us. The house is very nice and very clean, including a big kitchen-dining area and a small workspace. Location is ideal to explore the area. Ainokura village is 5 min by car, Shirakawa-go 30min. The little town has a bakery, restaurant and supermarket

The place was nice and comfortable, absolutely correct. On top of that we had access to the onsen and pool for free as hotel guests we loved it.

The Onsen was superb! We enjoyed it while snowing with a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms was very comportable. Everything super clean. Breakfast excellent! Staff excellent! Best accomodation in our trip in Japan.

It was idyllic - we felt immediately at peace after walking through the doors, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive yet not intrusive. Given there’s only 3 rooms, it was quiet and felt like you had it to yourself but there was a buzz in the evenings at dinner.
