The older home feel, the size and how comfortable it was. The area had plenty to look at and so many restaurants to choose from. We went into an izakaya and the staff were very accommodating to us even though neither of us understood the other. If you are visiting cat island it's also located very close to the port and is also close to the train station. Overall from the moment we got there we wish we had more time to spend in ishinomaki just so we could stay at this home.

We're so glad we could stay here, it was really beautiful and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen and bath are really nice, and there were so many beautiful details about the whole place. We'd love to stay again if we ever get the opportunity. Probably the nicest lighting of anywhere I've stayed in Japan.
