Perfect location, close to the bus stop, Kumano Kodo and Hongu Taisha. Places to eat and Cafes are a short walk away as well as a Post Office which has ATMs. The house is a home from home, well equipped, comfortable, nicely designed and clean. There is a hot and cold water station in the kitchen as well as a stock of snacks, carefully selected catering for all tolerances. There is even a separate laundry room, where I quite happily washed and dried. What sets this place from the rest is the consideration that has gone into everything to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and as pleasant as possible, which in it self, reflects the thoughtfulness and kindness of the host. Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable queen sized bed, the place was quiet and you can get a good night sleep. The shared facilities are clean and the kitchen is quite big. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the porch. The guy working there was super friendly and helpful. A good location if you want to shorten the walk to Hongu.

Clean, tidy self check was easy. Bedrooms have air conditioning, tv and comfortable beds The room facilities are practical: a basin, cabinet for toothpaste/brushes and shaver. Cupboard space in room to store clothes and personal property. shower facilities are : sex divided, cleaned daily. Towels provided for guests. Also showering products,.Laundry facilities are good: washing machine cost 300yen and 100 yen for dryer. Good communal area where a view of river and mountains which have a green covering of trees and plants,. Eagles can also be seen from the communal area's windows. Kitchen facilities are very good: electric cooker consists of: 2 X hobs a grill. Pots, pan, cutlery, crockery, kettle, coffee percolator, fridge and freezer accompany the kitchen. The property is cleaned regularly. There is a bus stop outside the property which links up with other transport networks just a few minutes away.A supermarket is 5 minutes away: has all the products for one's stay.The centre of town is one short bus stop outside the property, you could walk there in 10 minutes.

A beautiful property, traditional style cedar floor and walls, very comfortable and relaxing space. Eco conscious ownership with a great compostable toilet system, which was very hygienic. It’s set in a great location for visiting Onsens, walking trails and exploring the area. Convenient location to the supermarket and bus stop.

The staff were lovely and very helpful before and during our stay. The house is spacious and scrupulously clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the bath is worth the wait to fill with hot spring water. We enjoyed the free snacks and instant noodles for a no fuss dinner. The Kawayu Onsen bus stop is a few meters away, making transport easy. Soaking in the river hot springs is a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
