A unique stay in the area. The house decor and atmosphere was a lovely space to be for a few days. We also received a free day pass to the little local ski field just behind the house which we really enjoyed. The additional touches left by the host were great too - local jam, apple juice, face masks and coffee.

The hosts, Akira and Yone greeted us with the most authentic apple juice—it was so refreshing! The decoration of the place was nice and warm, making us feel right at home as soon as we stepped inside. Both hosts spoke excellent English, we shared easily about our interests and experiences, and it was such a delight to connect on a personal level. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a Japanese home and would love to come again.

new designed guesthouse in hirosaki. we had 2 private rooms with tatami floor (actually its a thin rice paper door that seperate the rooms and can be opened to 1 big room). everything is brand new. the room is big enough and has very convenient matresses on the floor. they also suplly towels. the comunal showers are right in front of the room, so its very convenient. the rooms are on the second floor, above the coffee/bar on the 1sr floor. you go by stairs to the second floor and take off your shoes. the are also dormitory beds on that floor. the city itself was very welcoming and nice. we had a very good experince and definitly come back again.

Well appointed, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood near to the station. Everything you need is available to prepare your own meals, or do laundry or take a nice long bath. Parking is also easy as there is a spot attached to the apartment. The landlord was very responsive and helpful when we had any questions I’d have not hesitation staying there again.

lovely owners, clean and spacious place, amazing food (ootional). The owners husband is a hobby hunter and serves food with of the animals he hunts and mushrooms he picks. we had a lovely bear shabu shabu. the second they he also went out of his way to show us the local bathhouse (onsen). we worked around the language barrier using Google and had a great time here.
