The house is very cute and has a view to the lake and the owner Tom very friendly and welcoming. He gave me good tips of Tomonoura and things to do. The laundry was 200¥ and was able to hang it outside to dry in the sun. Kitchen is nice with free coffee and tree a throughout the day, big fridge, kettles, stove etc. Rooms are nice and big and not cramped, the bed has a curtain, shelf, light, hooks and hangers and an outlet. It’s a new hostel, they recently opened just last month in october. Familymart is at a walking distance. Also Tom, loved an idea of an outdoor terrace/chill out space for the open space that is outside the female dorm, would love to see that space utilised!

Excellent Location and Value, Superb Room and Host Stay location was perfect, a small walk to most sightseeing spots and port to Sensui Island Also its right next to a temple and housing to cats The value you get for this stay is incredible, the entire place is beautiful, but it does get cold at night though but still the value for what you pay is worth it, almost feel spoiled with the spacious and clean rooms. The host were very helpful, kind and welcoming - recommended many great spots , one spot I highly recommend is the nearby restaurant Kichi - the owner is super welcoming and cool. Loved this stay and was the perfect stay for 2 nights in Tomonoura Highly recommend and I would 100 percent stay again

The owner of the guest house is an absolute legend. The house is amazing and very cosy and clean. The accomodation has a very authentic Japanese atmosphere. The owner speaks little English but nonetheless tried very hard to communicate with us even though we spoke little Japanese. We still had a great conversation with a lot of laughs. The beds were very comfy, the room was nice and the service was amazing.

This hotel was the highlight of my recent trip, and it's a large part due to its excellent location in the charming town of Fukuyama. What truly exceeded my expectations was the hotel itself - the quality of the equipment in our room was top-notch, and the reception team's warm hospitality was exceptional. My only regret is that I didn't book a longer stay, as I would have loved to have enjoyed the hotel's comforts and Fukuyama's charms for a longer period.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are clean and there is an onsen in the hotel. Tons of amenities are provided including pillows. Also free unlimited coffee. Breakfast in the morning is a great selection. Location is perfect being right next to the JR station.
