It was so good we stayed twice! Remi and Toyo really looked after us so well we had a really lovely time. The traditional house is so beautiful and the futons comfy and warm. Overall a great stay!

I had the most wonderful stay here and I felt completely at home. Would 100% recommend Cosmos Guesthouse! Really appreciated the lift both to and from the station with my heavy suitcase. Note that there are no locks however I felt safe in the area so it wasn't a big concern.

Facility is well maintained. The owner lady is very kind and a very good cook. Her home made plum wine is so good. Her son’s dish is quite delicious as well. We could enjoy Onsen( @Kazura onsen hotel and @Hikyo no yu) with discount price. Place is located very close to Kazura bridge.

Absolutely amazing place and location. The house is very special and made us feel like in the movies about Samurais:) It's a great experience to stay in such unique place. The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped. Host Yancy is very nice and welcoming. I really recommend to buy green tea from his plantation as it's delicious and fragrant!! We were offered eggs from his hens and tried lemons which is the nicest I've ever had. The views were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. The whole area is magical, just wish we could stay longer:( Will definitely come back if revisit Japan. Please bare in mind that it's a narrow and twisted drive up, so consider renting small car if you planning to drive in Shikoku mountains.

We liked everything about Riviera Iya Valley! The comfortable beds with duvet, the light shade of the wooden walls, the kitchen, the location and most of all our kind host Ryu. We went out kayaking on the river, Ryu is a great teacher, adapting to each person’s level. We also went hiking Mt Kumini with Ryu, a steep but most agreable walk.

Love everything at the guesthouse. The host is super nice ! They have everything in the kitchen. We were able to buy meat at a small local supermarket( open till 7 pm) and do yakiniku at the guest house!The host even went above and beyond to provide us the yakiniku sauce!! The room is huge and clean. Toilet and bathroom are shared but very clean and easy to use. The vine bridge and waterfall are 5 mins walk and we were able to go at night for different view ! There’s a free parking area for the guests staying! Would love to stay again if I come back in the future. Plus there are console games and comic books, great for family or friends trips. The host make sure we were comfortable staying at their guesthouse! Highly recommended to anyone if planning to stay around the area

Great place to stay. Would 10/10 stay again. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Parking was right out in front of our room. The staff were great. Our electronic door code wouldn't work, was easily fixed with a manual key. The suprise was that they included a small meal with each room per person. It was a frozen meal. It was not much, however, after a few long days of travelling it was right what we needed!! Staff organised a taxi for us to the station on our last morning. Met us out the front of our room. The bed was very comfy, and the massage chair was a bonus!! Friendly cat visit on arrival was also nice!!

A superbly appointed, new hotel with a great public bath. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the included buffet breakfast had an extensive selection. Located near restaurants and a supermarket, it was perfect for us as walking Henro.
