Great place to stay! Very nice surprise. Like at home, the room is actually an appartment with an art gallery style. Delicate attentions such as Spotify music playlist, cassette rental for free, books about Beppu, really good coffee ☕️ in the room. All the details were super appreciated. Also the reception is a nice area : books, sustainable and local shopping, art… The building is quite new and modern. There is a pottery shop from the owner which is amazing. Their restaurant was also really good ! Really loved this place.

A very nice and helpful host with a unique hostel. He gave various tips what to visit. I could rent a towel to use in the surrounding Onsen. In my single room there was a balcony attached, so I could easily relax on the outside and have a great view over Kannawa.

The host is very kind. He patiently explained how to use the facilities in the house. He is thoughtful. On extremely hot days, he prepared iced tea and Popsicle for us. Besides, he even gave us some fresh vegetables he grew. The house is fancy with complete facilities, and there’s space to park 2 cars outside.
