We spent 15 days in Japan and this hotel was without a doubt our best stay of all!!! The hotel is absolutely immaculate — super clean, modern, with a huge and very comfortable room! An incredible view!! Pure luxury! Fantastic bathroom products, a very large bathroom with the toilet and shower separated — truly a dream room! The staff were all amazing, super friendly, and there was free parking right in front of the hotel! Breakfast itself was a whole experience!! Delicious bread and croissants, a Japanese set with fantastic food, great coffee, fresh juices, and local teas! I could go on all day praising this hotel — it was truly incredible, and definitely one I’d love to repeat someday.

This place is one is the most magnificent that we have ever visited. Peaceful hidden gem with very hospitable hosts. Authentic interior, stunning garden view from the room and atmosphere of traditional Japanese culture made our visit very touching, cozy and unique💗

Amazing place to stay in! Such a lot of stunning scenery. The accommodation was lovely and had a very authentic Japanese feel to it. The rooms were idyllic and we had the privilege of meeting the owner - she was very friendly and lovely. It was much bigger than expected and great value for money! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate for us and was always quick to respond to any questions and help us if we got stuck. If I ever get chance to return to Japan, I would definitely want to stay here again!

It's a wonderfully charming hotel in the middle of apparent nowhere - i.e. precisely what we were searching for. It isn't really nowhere as there's a ton of historical and natural features nearby but it is still far from the hustle and bustle. It's very peaceful. The staff were very nice and helpful without being overbearing. We were picked up at the station (Sakurai) and after our stay we were shuttled back there. The staff has varying levels of English but it didn't hinder our stay at the slightest - communication was great and they even made to sure to translate some handouts for meals into our native Polish which was a charming gesture. The meals themselves were delicious (caution: the wonderful multi-course dinner has to be ordered in advance!) and served very nicely. Yes, they are pricey but it reflects their quality. The rooms were traditional, with tatami etc and a great view on the temple on the mountainside opposite the hotel. There's also a hot bath and we loved it. If we ever get the possibility of coming back to Japan, we would love to revisit this hotel.

Amazing place to stay in! Such a lot of stunning scenery. The accommodation was lovely and had a very authentic Japanese feel to it. It's spotless clean and everything so well organized. We rent the car going there and it's very easy to locate, and parking is convenient, just in front of the property. Not sure about the public transportation though if we don't have the car. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back again.

A small traditional Japanese house, nice and very clean. Great location for our purposes, close to Ishibutai Timulus park. The host was very responsive to all our questions and requests.
