Laura and Lucia were very friendly and attentive since our first contact, welcoming us and showing us the suite. The place is very spacious and cozy, with heated floors and plenty of natural light. Excellent location, safe parking, and a very large outdoor area. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and include several amenities.

Excellent place for car travellers, with a dedicated parking spot just in front of the apartment, which is all new one on the ground floor, spaciouos, high ceiling, clean and comfortable. Easy self check-in, the owner even sent a short video how to do it, which is caring and I have not experienced in booking before, compliments!

La Rotunda is an exceedingly comfortable apartment on the northern edge of Pavia’s historic centre with views over the old town. With luggage, it’s about a 15 minute walk from the station and is accessible by a path leading off Viale Nazario Sauro. A lift takes you from the ground floor to the floor below the apartment, from which there's one flight of stairs to the apartment door. We loved everything in the apartment – decor, views, sofa, storage, bed and bathroom. The traditional moka stove-top coffee pot in the well equipped kitchen is a nice touch. It was a much appreciated bonus to have breakfast items provided by the host. Taking the lift down to the lower ground floor, leaving by the back entrance and heading south through the arch of the private road, it’s just a couple of minutes to Basilica di San Pietro in Ciel d’Oro. Home to the tombs of Saint Augustine, Boethius and Lombard king Liutprand, the church is featured in Boccaccio’s 'Tale of Messer Torello and Saladin' from the Decameron. This is also the quickest way into the historic centre. We loved La Rotonda and Pavia. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both and to stay here again.

Letizia was such a friendly host. There are two rooms, sharing a kitchen and living area with all you need. I was the only guest so I had the floor to myself. Spotlessly clean, great style, home made cake, beautiful old wooden beams in the ceiling, comfy bed. Perfect! Ideal location in the centre of Pavia, but off the main street do it was quiet.
