We enjoyed that the room was very clean, well set up and quiet. The bedroom and bathroom were large and nicely decorated. There was lots of hot water for the shower. We enjoyed the generous breakfast that was provided at the cafe downstairs. The B & B was well located close to sights and restaurants.

Our 3-night stay in the Altarocca Wine Resort was the highlight of our holiday in Italy. After the heat and crowds of Rome, it was a haven of quiet and beauty, set amongst vineyards and olive groves, perfect for a few quiet, lazy days. Also a great base to discover the region - Orvieto, Rocca Ripesena, Civita di Bagnoregio. We booked a picnic in the vineyards and spoiled ourselves with the Oil & Spa Experience. It was just magic. Our rooms were located in the Borgo del Vino; we had lovely big rooms, comfortable beds and air conditioning (essential in Italy in the summer!). It was a short (beautiful) walk to the Villa Gualtieri where the reception, breakfast room and spa were located. Both areas have their own swimming pool with loungers and bar.

My friend and I stayed one night at Casa Vespina and honestly didn’t want to leave. Tucked away in nature near Civita di Bagnoregio, this place feels like something out of a dream—especially under the moonlight. The room was beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail. It had that perfect balance of cozy and stylish that makes you instantly feel at home. We were greeted by a super friendly dog who instantly won us over, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming— And breakfast? Let’s just say the homemade chocolate cake alone is worth the trip. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-immersed escape with warm hospitality and beautiful vibes, Casa Vespina is it. One night wasn't enough!

We stayed in the appartement with a private garden ( there are rooms as well, the appartement is not so much more expensive and so much more space plus the garden). We loved it, clean, airco and garden, in the town centre. We stayed for2 nights, it was very relaxing. Totally recomended!

The location is good for visiting Orvieto, by walking 10-15min you can reach the funiculare station, and in 2 minuts you are in the oldtown. We travelled by car, so for us was perfect, to leave the car in front of the apartment and discover the city! Emanuele and his wife are great hosts! We love it so much to meet them, they recieved us with the most warm welcom and were open to help at any time. Although we were travelling as couple, we noticed the place is well provided for travelling also with children!

It was clean and comfortable and just a short walk to the central Duomo area. There was lots of space for us and lots of helpful guide books there. We loved it. Our host was a lovely, kind lady and accommodating when we needed to leave our bags. And so interesting to read about its history as a church.
