We went to wonderful Abruzzo and found 2 new friends. I & S are wonderful owners, extremelly attentive, always smiling , making us feel at home. Wonderful breakfast, very nice facilities. Gated free parking. Close to the beach, mall and the very nice city of Ortona. 23km to pescara.I highly recommend ORIZZONTEMARE !!!!

The accommodation was great: nice layout of the room and all facilities provided ( including coffee machine with free capsules and fridge/minibar), breakfast/dining common area with free drinking water dispenser and other facilities, very good location (in city center, supermarket very close, free public parking possible in the area if spots available). The host was very nice and helping. Should mention the salty part of the breakfast (prosciutto, cheese and toast bread), which for us was a nice addition to the typical Italian breakfast. We and the kids were very pleased, thanks a lot!

The apartment is something to dream about. It is very clean and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for breakfast and more. Lovely homely hotel, very clean, comfortable, quiet, homely atmosphere. Great varied breakfast, the best cappuccino, delicious homemade pies, and much more. Thanks a lot! A little about our trip and Ortona :) We spent here less than 24 hours, no transport, only walking, slept only one night, but it was a very interesting trip. Ortona has two different good beaches: the pebble beach "Spiaggia della Ritorna" to the north of the port with azure water (if the sea is calm enough). 500 meters north of it in the morning we even saw a flock of dolphins. And the sandy beach of Spiaggia Lido south of the port. The walking and cycling path stretches along the city to the south for more than 20 kilometers along the picturesque coast. In the evening we only managed to walk along it about 7 kilometers from Spiaggia Lido to San Vito Lanciano and from there we returned to Ortona by train in 5 minutes.
