Was met by the owner to hand over the keys and show us around. The owner couldn't have been more gracious, even given some tomatoes from the garden. Beach was just round the corner as was the shops and restaurants but very quiet from any noise. We had all that we needed for our stay including a dedicated parking space just up the road.

The hotel is located a short distance from the center and a 5-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast at the hotel was of a good standard, everyone can choose. Bags and boxes are also available and guests can take anything from breakfast to take away. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Even our women received a small gift. Free parking is available, which is a big plus.

Their garden is absolute heaven and makes you feel exactly like you should on an island! Amazing sights and nice shade. The pool was being cleaned every night. Some of the staff did not speak English, however they were extremely kind and made sure they understood what you needed in the end. They serve traditional local food. The breakfast variety was amazing as well. The best view of our honeymoon! They had even left us a lovely congratulatory letter!

Michella and Massimo have been very welcoming and nice. I've been lucky to taste Michella's cake in the morning. The villa is at the centre of the village and only 5min of walk to Procchio beach. Even without a car, it's very easy to get there by bus from Portoferraio with the 116 and to reach other villages of the island via the same line. looking forward to come back one day

This was a beautiful small house with a lovely garden and a fantastic view overlooking the Procchio Gulf. The beds were comfortable and the rooms felt cozy and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace, perfect for grilling and even equipped with an outdoor shower, which was a nice touch. It was also exceptionally quiet, offering perfect silence, which was truly restorative. The owner, Michele, was incredibly helpful; he not only picked us up from the port and drove us to the house, but also guided us to the best places and routes to explore the island. His assistance was especially invaluable as we unexpectedly encountered a national strike in Italy during our stay, making train and other public transportation impossible. An added bonus was that Michele also rents out bikes (both normal and electric), which was perfect because riding around Elba Island is an absolute must!

From day one my stay at Riva del Sole has been a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean and modern, ideally located on the seaside and within short walking distance from the city center. It offers a great and always fresh breakfast variety. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive and made me feel welcome from start to end of my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.
