Set in a central location close to the main centre of the village Our host was most helpful and made our arrival very easy with video to follow directions, key lock access is always easy and preferable for travellers unable to determine arrival and departure times We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer

Our stay there was exceptionnal. The view from the private terrace of the room was amazing. The breakfast was delicious with local pastries. They cleaned the room very fast on the morning while we were running. Nothing more to say, I highly recommend !

Biagio was a wonderful host from start to finish, he did everything he possibly could to welcome us with local advice and arrival instructions. The room is perched up a little stone staircase and has everything that you could need, it is very tastefully decorated and has the romantic appeal of a proper village house. Maratea is just as you would hope to find a gorgeous italian town unchanged with lots of character and friendliness. We ate at the Oenotecha, which offers wonderful ham and cheese platters and selected wines. The marina at Maratea is small but very perfectly formed. Altogether a delightful stay.

Spacious, comfortable and really nicely decorated apartment with great mountain views from the lovely large terrace, and also the smaller terrace off the bedroom. It is tucked away in a quiet area away from the road (which is not busy) and was very peaceful. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy, and appliances all worked well. The owners are very nice and helpful. We were there well outside the holiday season (end of October) and we found the location ideal for this, as there were still local restaurants and small bars open, within very easy walking distance, a great little supermarket and a local community. The beach is a short walk away with very pretty surroundings. Maratea old town is a short drive and has absolutely spectacular views.
