This room was perfect. We visited Borgomanero for a wedding and needed a place to stay for the weekend. This house is truly beautiful and so well decorated! The colours of the room and toilet made it feel really comfy and it made me want to renovate my own house! I also need to get the toilet soap for my own bathroom, it smelled lovely! Very spacious toilet with bidet and everything you need. Room was a nice size and bed super comfy, the ceiling fan was perfect to keep the space at a nice temperature through the night. The place was pretty much located in the main street of the city centre, super easy access to everything including the train station.

Everything. It was just the perfect t stay with the perfect host. There was great communication before the stay. The room and premises were as beautiful or even better than in then photos on booking. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh produce (ham, cheese, mozzarella, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, juices, Croissants, muffins, soya or oat milk as alterrnatives, Biscotti and similar - and bread obviously. Plus the design and styling of the rooms and communal areas was a perfect marriage between the old building and modern decor - and all with very much attention to detail. Wine tasting was also available as Decanter House produces its own wine (as the name might give away :-), but we had sadly to time for it, as we were there for my son's EYBL basketball tournament watching him play. The house is beautifully set in the countryside but just a few minutes from Borgomanero center and ca 20 min from Lago Maggiore and just over 1h from Milan. We were looking first to book a place more towards Milan, but they all did not look half as nice as Decanter House. So I am very glad we stayed here and Manuela was the prefect host. And we will definitely be back !!!

Our stay at Carrera Living was simply wonderful. This charming place is spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a carefree holiday — from convenient parking and an in-room safe to all the little touches that make you feel at home. He welcomed us with genuine warmth and took care of every detail: fresh coffee and tea, delicious biscuits for breakfast, and even a rich library stocked with maps and brochures to help you discover every hidden gem in the area. Mornings at Carrera Living are magical — you wake up to the sound of church bells and step onto a terrace with a beautiful view over the picturesque town. Don’t miss dining at Rustorante Il Piccantino Pizzeria nearby by car — the atmosphere, service, and food are simply delightful. If you’re dreaming of an authentic Italian stay where you can slow down and savour every moment, Carrera Living is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The location was what I expected, and the room was very clean and spacious. I was left with some italian snacks and clean towels where given every day. Communication was easy when needed with the staff and everything was smooth and helpful.
