Our stay at Hotel Monastero Sant'Andrea was short but absolutely beautiful and enjoyable. The location is perfect, very close to everything in Assisi, which made exploring the town so much easier and more pleasant. The staff were brilliant and genuinely welcoming, adding a personal touch that made us feel well cared for. The food was tasty and satisfying, just what we needed to recharge after a day out. One of the highlights was definitely the view from the balcony, stunning by day, and absolutely magical at night. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of Assisi. Overall, we left with lovely memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Staying at Sottoassisi - Guest House was an exceptional experience. The location is ideal — right in the historic center of Assisi, close to major landmarks like the Basilica of Saint Francis, yet quiet and peaceful for a restful stay. The guest house is full of charm, with beautifully preserved details and modern amenities. My room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and tastefully furnished. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped. I used Sottoassisi as a base to explore a wide range of Umbrian towns and cities, and it worked perfectly for that purpose. From here, I visited Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio, Foligno, Città di Castello, Spello, Spoleto, and Trevi — all within a reasonable driving distance or accessible by train. Each day ended with a peaceful return to Assisi, making it the perfect anchor for my Umbrian adventure. The hosts were warm, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel at home. They provided excellent recommendations and were always available for any questions or needs. If you're planning to explore Umbria, I can't recommend Sottoassisi - Guest House enough. It combines comfort, location, and hospitality in a truly unforgettable way.

A beautiful, extremely clean, and stylish B&B that truly felt like home. The family who run it are so lovely and welcoming — nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. This is the only place in Italy we would return to without hesitation. If I could give 20 out of 10, I would! It’s perfect. The communication with Cristina and Carolina was very smooth. They were always responsive and friendly. The room is very comfortable for two people. Everything was clean and tidy. Check-in and check out were smooth too. We could leave our suitcase with them after the checkout. What I loved specially was how silent the room was. So many of these buildings have paper thin walls, but we couldn’t hear a thing from other guests. The location was very convenient too - close to some of the main churches in Assisi, nice restaurants and bars, and the main bus stop. I would absolutely recommend and return whenever I have the opportunity.

The hotel is in a solid 1950s building, so no flimsy walls and noise from fellow guests. I had booked a room with separate private bathroom, but was actually given an en-suite room, which was a nice surprise. No air conditioning but a very effective fan, on a very hot night. Fridge in the room. The location, right opposite the railway station, the bus to Perugia airport and the bus to Assisi's historic centre, is ideal, and probably quieter and better value than hotels in the centre. Welcoming staff.

Great location close to the bus station and only a short walk from the main attraction, Basilica di San Francesco d'Assisi. Really a home made breakfast by the owner! Owner Anna is local, so she can tell you about Assisi and can give valuable tips where to go and what to do. Spotless and comfortable room and bathroom!
