Amazing views to the mountains from the windows, beds were clean and comfortable, there was a bonus hot tub outside, which was very secluded. Tasty breakfast with a large selection. Options to rent bikes and helmets. Sheep outside, very friendly, had a lovely time petting them.

It is very remote but charming, warm and calm. The perfect spot to breathe and releaxe during our tours through the westfjords. We felt welcome, as if we stayed with friends. I would recommend and we definitely will come back.

Large 3 bedroom cottage with a lounge/diner/kitchen, complete with 2 sofas and a large dining room table. This is the perfect place for a stop in the Westfjords and for exploring Flateyri. Not to mention the stunning mountain views all around.We were a bit worried as other reviews said there were no sofas but that has changed now, all the cottages have them.

Very spacious room - the biggest one we've got in the whole Iceland trip. Restaurant offers delicious options with fresh fish - you gotta check that one. Calm fish village which you walk through in 20 min. Outstanding nature around. Only one road leads to thid village which makes it remote and isolated - great place for slowing down and breath deep.
