We had an absolutely lovely two-night stay at this charming accommodation in Iceland. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean everything was - clearly a lot of care goes into maintaining this property. Our host Veronique was simply delightful and made us feel so welcome throughout our visit. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, which really enhanced our overall experience. The space itself was cozy and inviting, with a warm atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. We were pleased to find that the accommodation was very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location worked perfectly for our Iceland adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest after our days of exploring this beautiful country. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with exceptional hospitality. Veronique is a wonderful host, and we’d happily stay here again on our next visit to Iceland!

Absolutely loved this place! Stunning views and serenity, so peaceful and quiet. Has everything you need and is clean and tidy. Nice and warm inside. We got lucky with the clouds and saw the northern lights from here. Also woke up to a foot of fresh snow one morning… and another foot or more of snow the next morning so I’d advise if you are getting a car rental in Iceland definitely opt for a 4x4 or AWD! The roads can be almost impassable when there’s a big dump of snow. But this cabin is superb, we would love to come back one day.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! As a family of four travelling around the west/south of the island, we found this place to be the perfect base—just off Route 1, making it super convenient for exploring. What really stood out were all the thoughtful extras: a fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep easy, bathroom amenities, and even toys for the kids that kept them happily entertained. These little touches made our stay feel extra comfortable and homely. Highly recommended for families looking for a cosy and well-appointed spot! Also perfect place to see the northern lights.

Our stay at The Dome was absolutely wonderful! The location is surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora right from there, it was truly magical. The room was warm, cozy, and comfortable, perfect for a night under the northern lights. Very nice location, in nature but close to a town. This isn't a hotel, this is a guest house with a key box, so don't expect all the facilities a regular hotel would have, you're probably not even gonna see staff. This is however very private, clean, affordable room with just enough space for 2. Very nice.

This room was super affordable and probably the best budget choice I made while I was in Iceland. I was late to my check in time and the front desk left me an envelope with a key and directions to my room as I didn't arrive until about 10:45pm. The room was spacious, enough for me to have my suitcase open and walk around without it being tight. + a desk and chair, lots of extra towels, etc. There's also lots of windows letting in natural light. I liked it here.

In a beautiful, quiet location. We stayed 3 nights, plenty to do in the area such as the Westman Islands, Hjálparfoss, Fossabrekkur and Seljalandsfoss. We usually stay in an apartment, so weren't sure about the shared kitchen/dining room. But everything was spotlessly clean, lots of cooking utensils. Breakfast waffles were great. The room was warm & bed very comfy. Plenty of storage. We were sad to leave.

This was the best accommodation during my Iceland trip. The room is very clean and spacious. It has a private bathroom. The facility is in a quiet location. It is in an ideal location to see the northern lights. I was able to see the Northern Lights during my 2 nights stay.
