I hardly ever write a review, but our 3-day stay at Bundeli Kothi warrants a positive exception. Me and my wife truly loved it. Whilst the building is very modern and may therefore appear somewhat 'non-Indian', it is situated in a very attractive agricultural area, with a small hamlet just around the corner (see the pictures of the doors, as an example), and very kind people, all of which will enrich your India experience. We enjoyed dinner at the Bundeli Kothi and each time it was delicious. The modern kitchen is spotlessly clean and if you like, you can watch how Indian dishes are prepared (or even participate). Orchha is a mere 15 minute drive away

We had a great time here! We spent two days in Orchha and the family was just amazing! The room is super nice and clean, while the people around are lovely. We had dinner with the family and stayed with them for a while, looking all the kids playing and running around and talking with the women of the family. it was a really great experience, we are so glad we had this opportunity. We instantly felt at home in this amazing oasis in Orchha. We only stayed one night but could easily have extended our stay for the whole month. It was one of the most wonderful staying ever in India!! The palce is spaciously clean, the veranda has spectacular views to Lakshmi temple and the kitchen area is made for spending a looot of chill-out afternoons and nights!!

Everything at Hotel Sunset Orchha is just absolutely beautiful. Right from the adopted cat you’ll meet at the reception to the views from the rooftop. But the thing that really stands out at this hostel is the people managing the property. Aniket, Mahipal, Mayank and Rinku really make you feel like home. The hotel is located at close proximity to most of the tourist destinations in Orchha. So you can explore in the day and chill with everyone at the rooftop later in the night. I went to Orchha for 3 days but stayed there for 9 days just because I wasn’t willing to leave the the hostel. So if you are in Orchha, do not look anywhere else. This is the place folks. You won’t regret it trust me :)
