The Thoppil family are all kind, welcoming, and accommodating. During our 4-night stay, we especially enjoyed taking long walks in the lush nature surrounding the property, playing with one of the family's cats (Simba), and watching the sunset from the balcony attached to our room. We also were happy to explore Anaviratty and nearby Munnar thanks to our taxi driver, but staying with the Thoppils already felt like being at an oasis where we didn't feel the need or desire to leave. Salomé and Nisha (sorry for the spelling mistakes!) prepared delicious meals for us at breakfast and at dinner, and we always ate more than we planned on because of how exquisite the food tasted! Manoj tirelessly maintains a beautiful garden, and we often spent our time admiring the spice trees and flowers, committing the view to memory. Overall, we were delighted to experience 5-star comfort at an affordable price for the region, with all the charm of the Thoppil family and their lovely home.

We loved everything about Mistletoe. Joe was accommodating and let us check-in hours early as well as arranged last minute hikes for us. The room is very bright and clean - balcony is as beautiful as pictured. The food is very fresh and we ate all our dinners there. It is a nice and quiet property.
