The hostel is nicely located inside the Fort. The room has a touch a good taste with the decoration, matching the style of the house. And even had a gorgeous view of the Fort and the city from the window. They have a great rooftop where I relaxed and enjoyed the sunset ... and the breakfast ... and dinner. Yesss the food! Raju (the cook) prepares really delicious meals. Cheese Naan was my favourite. If it gets bit cold on the rooftop, there is a nice common open area next to the kitchen to lay and chill with other travellers. I had a great time chilling with the guys working/helping in the hostel. Ha-lucky (he is running this place) is a master! He is always helpful, gentle, with his friendly smile, making you feel comfortable ... man you work a lot !!! He even picked me up (for free) from the bus stand. Thanks for everything, your hostel and your vibe made my time in Jaisalmer one of the best moments I experienced in India. Big hug and hope to see you all again.

Efficient friendly staff, always willing to help. Great view of fort.Very central,easy access to Jaisalmer's tourist We had 2 wonderful weeks discovering all the fascinating places in town. Hasim , in charge of excursions, brought us to the desert where we met authentic nomade gypsies who danced awhile for us. Hasim was always charming and helpful. Jaisalmer is an authentic very friendly town where you can walk without the least worry at any time.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The tents were squeaky clean, and the linen was fresh, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool offered a stunning view of the desert landscape, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Speaking of adventure, the jeep and camel rides provided by the camp were a highlight and offered great value for money. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable desert experience!

Customer Service was excellent from the point of booking. The manager made contact and made us aware of services the hotel offers. He even met us at the station at 3am when our train was delayed! The hotel is modern, new and very clean. Room was large and well decorated with a large bathroom and good hot water shower. Bed was comfy. Location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the main gate of the old city. Also has a nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel arranged our camel safari which was excellent. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anything and stayed here twice during our trip. The staff take a pride in the hotel and delivering superb service to guests. As far as I could see, Hotel Shahiraj Jaisalmer is the best choice for a hotel in Jaisalmer.

The rooms, food, our host Jeetu were magnificent. Jeetu was very accommodating for our every need when SpiceJet cancelled our flights. He arranged for cabs to take us to Jodpur. Hotel Jasmin Home is really authentic but certainly extremely clean, comfortable and breakfast is included. We had a fabulous stay there. Jeetu also acted as almost a tour guide giving us advice of what to see. They also arrange desert safaris. They have a roof top restaurant that has a view of the Fort. All his workers were extremely pleasant.

Stayed for a week as the managers Ashish and Ali were hospitable and genuine, location couldn't be better, foods are delicious, room prices are among the best (great value for money!), drinking water refill also available. Lovely place, can't wait to go back.
