Great hotel, good breakfast. They also serve dinner. I was the only person eating in the (basement) restaurant the two nights I ate there, but the food and service were good. The staff were fantastic. The guy at reception even lent me the money to pay my taxi from the airport because I had run out of rupees and none of the ATMs we stopped at were working.

We had an excellent stay at Sri Someswar Guest House. Sharmaji, the owner, along with his two sons, was extremely helpful and friendly. They guided us with a well-planned tour program, negotiated with auto-rickshaw drivers on our behalf, and even assisted with transferring our luggage from the 600m drop point. The accommodation is conveniently located near Dasashwamedh Ghat. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Inka Kashi was an awesome stay! The place was spacious and comfortable, with a fair price and easy access to Assi Ghat. I had a private room which was massive with a comfy bed, clean hot shower and strong fair/AC. The cafe upstairs had tasty and reasonably priced food too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, sharing information about the accommodation, tips about the Kashi, or just a pleasant conversation. I would definitely recommend this spot!

This being our 1st trip to Varanasi and what a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful resort with such friendly and caring host and staff. The owner was wonderful and the place is taken care of with so much of love and attention to detail. The garden was beautiful and was set in a very serene environment. With the hustle and bustle of Varanasi it was always great to come back to the peace and tranquility. 10/10 for this place.

Nestled in the heart of the city, this homestay allowed us to conveniently explore the vibrant streets of Varanasi. Being located centrally we could easily walk down to all the near by sight seeing places like Sankat Mochan Hanuman, assi ghat, & Durga kund. Amitji our gracious host went beyond to make our stay comfortable. He reached out to usto guide us about booking for Alakhnanda cruise & attending Mangla aarti. His Warmth & Humility stood out, as he genuinely invested in making our visit memorable. The room was spacious, cleaned & well maintained. Despite having Indian style toilet, he kindly made adjustments for us to suit our needs, displaying his genuine hospitality. The Highlight of our stay was visiting their family shop business to buy Banarasi sarees where Amitji s' father showcased an exquisite collection of sarees. With his expertise he introduced us to the rich variety & heritage behind each saree & the pieces we choose were delivered seamless via courier. We are deeply grateful for the memories created & look forward to visiting again.

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.
