This was truly exceptional. Excellent location in allepey - peaceful, right next to a canal in the front and garden and rice fields in the back. New spotless house. The room had quality insect protection. There was a balcony with comfortable armchairs. The owners were so nice! And the food! Very good breakfast and absolutely delicious kerala dinner. Many different little dishes beautifully presented. The lady of the house could easily run a high class restaurant!

Mayflower is the best homestay we have stayed in throughout all our trip in Kerala! Definitely the cleanest one, beautiful house with great vibes! Our hostess Suzan is incredible!! Helped us book tuk tuks and told us a few places to visit in our short stay. And her cooking just chef's kiss! Best breakfast we had with traditional Kerala dishes, fresh organic fruits and great coffee!

The location is good no doubt. But remember this is a low budget property. So the lawns and exteriors are ordinary at best. No particular beautification or lawning or decor exists. It maybe a good fit for cheap long stays. But definitely a No-No for short visits and families who are used to a bit of luxury.
