Very charming hostel in an old colonial style building. Rooms are spacious and very clean. There is also a common room and a nice garden. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a fabulous backwater canoe tour with local food. Would book it again anytime.

The boat was really nice and well maintained. Did a nice cruise across the lake and into a smaller channel. Also did some kayaking which was all organised by Jos! Thank you. Everything was hassle free and the houseboat was nicely priced.

The room was good, clean and spacious. The highlight of the place was the freshly made local variety breakfast made by the owner's lovely mom. The manager at the homestay, Sanoj, was prompt and very helpful. The location of the place is close to the backwaters but it a little away from the main area of the city. Food options are available around the homestay and delivery through food apps is also possible.

This is such a beautiful and unique place to stay! Wake up to see the sun rising over the backwaters. The owner and staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. I came with 6 of my Yoga students as part of a tour of Kerala and everyone loved it here. They also cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was so delicious! You could taste the love in the food. The owner Shanavas helped me book a houseboat months in advance which turned out great! I highly recommend this quiet and tranquil place!
