They make proper breakfast for you, give lovely advice where to go in the surrounding of wicklow! And are always in for a nice chat! We really recommend people to stay here! I was staying for two nights while making my way along the Irish coast. The accomodations was in a quiet and friendly neighborhood and had a variety of food options. As the description states I had my own room with lots of space for my stuff and could use the shared kitchen/living room/garden. The living area was cozy and comfortable. The backyard garden was very lovely and really great for hot summer nights. I had lovely chats with the owners who were very nice people. I would come back any time.

Absolutely EVERYTHING, I am just sorry to be traveling solo this time and not with my wife and our baby boy accompanying! I think I got lucky enough to get offered the “suite” of the hotel, great room with big windows and views over the bay, bed with a mattress with a feeling like “sleeping in the clouds”, nice decoration. And the pub is simply LEGENDARY. The pub food is the best I have ever tried in Ireland (and I lived there for near 8 years before) both in quality and variety. I got also B&B and the breakfast was a la carte with no restrictions. The music live sessions going on every evening where simply class, great covers of all time classics. A true pleasure to enjoy there the grand finale of the Six Nations and Ireland’s historic Grand Slam. The hotel is at the Bray seafront within 5 minutes walking distance to the DART and close to many shops and the Main Street. The reception ladies were super polite and attentive and the young lads waiters were all courteous and kind. Rooms cleaned and serviced every day

Knockree Hostel is an amazing and friendly place!! The facilities were very clean, the room was warm, and the shared spaces very comfortable and welcoming!! The staff were very helpful and friendly too. It’s a very nice place to stay at, in the middle of the countryside, with a wonderful view on the sunrise above the mountains in the morning! The location is also perfect to join the Wicklow Way, only a 10 min walk. Thank you Knockree Hostel!!
