We arrived ,having had great communication ,with a big welcome and a huge smile (we were biking around The Ring of Beara and so rather sweaty)and immediately a welcome seat and drink were thrust upon us . Mary and John’s attention to every detail were extraordinary. Scrupulously clean and nothing too much trouble.They chatted , engaged and educated us on every level, whilst ensuring we were comfortable. We had a fabulous dinner, including mussels , gathered and cooked to perfection by John himself …..soup , chicken and everything you could wish for . Breakfast ,with many options ,was a nutritious delight. A little piece of paradise . Mary and John invite you into their home and make it your own! Respect and enjoy this true Irish welcome .

Kitchen is perfect for keen cooks. It’s really well equipped with super oven. Living area is open plan, so you can be in kitchen but still be part of conversations. Very comfortable bedrooms and great showers. Spectacular views.

What to say? Better than home. Thanks very much for the kind welcome. It was like we were with old friends. The atmosphere is warm. Everything is perfect, from the breakfast to the room, even the decoration. The price is totally fair. For sure I’ll be back! Fun fact, we were 3 French guests the night we stayed. Clean, super cozy, spacious and well maintained house. There was everything in the kitchen to cook food, house is very cozy to chill with a group in the evening, and throughout the windows you can see pretty view with a lake! We enjoyed our stay a lot!
