Fabulous old house in wonderful surroundings. It could be a setting for Pride and Prejudice. Due to its age, you have to understand what it can offer. In return, we can have experiences that a modern hotel cannot offer. A touch of history right on the riverbank. Huge garden and its own church on the grounds. Young Harry welcomed us with outstanding hospitality, was always available and kind. He was always at our disposal for any problems. He also performed outstandingly as a local guide. In summary, it was a great experience, thank you.

I can not praise Mary enough and her place !!! She made sure I could get an early check-in ,helped with wi fi ,taxi, and made sure I was comfortable my whole stay !! The place is spotless clean with everything that you need ,suuuuper comfy bed and within 10 min walk from town centre ! Will be back, and thank you for everything! Best hostess ever ❤️!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the pub and your staff was lovely. Breakfast hit everybody’s needs, especially once we found out we could get coffees from your espresso machine😉 The pool facility was very appreciated by almost everybody. Golf was a great hit w the golfers. I loved that my windows opened and had a lovely green view! You accommodated our bedding needs for our little ones. Lovely family atmosphere and staff were very attentive to all needs. Loved the fact that the 3 children had proper single beds rather than sofa beds or sharing beds as in other hotels and all beds were very comfy.

Great host. Gerard's place is a work in progress, alterations going on. This was not a problem. He was so obliging and we had some great conversations. A shame we only spent one night. Was able to make use of the kitchen which was a huge bonus. Gave us some great bread he had and sent us away with sparkling water and an Irish travel blessing. Thanks Gerard for sharing your home with us.
