We liked everything: spacious room, view from the window, excellent restaurant, trad music in the bar during the first evening, good lounge area to play chess or talk. It is a short drive to Kylemore, Diamond Hill, and Cliffden. This was the best and cheapest hotel during our stay in Ireland.

Great view over the lake. Wonderful comfortable bed. Extremely well-appointed Kitchen and a lovely bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower.

We had our best family holiday, the cottage had everything we needed. It was charming and cosy, set in the beautiful Irish countryside. The location was great because it was a perfect starting point to tour around Conemmara. Everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the personal touches like the fire lit on our arrival, cookies and freshly cut flowers. Thank you for everything! We already want to come back.

Hands down one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. From fresh, homemade bread in the morning to a warm fire in the evening after a day hiking in the surrounding hills, Ben Lettery has everything an outdoorsy traveller could want. The staff were kind, helpful, and informed, and the hostel was clean and comfortable (a wee mark down for the showers - they could do with a bit of an update), and there was even secure bike storage for bikepackers. I didn’t want to leave! I couldn’t recommend this hostel and Connemara enough. Thanks to the staff for a lovely stay and hopefully I’ll be back for another trip soon!
