The home was in an amazing location, looking out over the water! It was walking distance to a lovely pub where everyone was so friendly and also had delicious food. It also had a petrol station nearby if we forgot anything. The area was quiet yet so close to the beach and all the facilities the island has to offer. The owner was so kind and helpful throughout our stay which was amazing. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience in Achill, we will be back!

The host, Marie, was extremely kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. The shower was the best one I had in Ireland, maybe the best of my life. The location was very close to a popular pub and a grocery store. It meant driving further to get to the beaches and cliffs, but during tourist season you're not going to want to stay near those anyway. Outdoor common areas looked like they'd be very nice during warmer weather!

Clean, compact, cosy cottage…everything we needed was provided, including plentiful supply of turf. Nisa was very helpful, hospitable and very prompt with communication and requests. We are hikers and stayed here for 10 days. This is a beautiful, bright and scenic location, easily walkable to bus stops, shops, pubs, take-away, cafe and the amazing Greenway. I highly recommend this wee cottage.

Hosts were very welcoming, room was a lovely big room with views of the sea. Bed super comfortable and room spotlessly clean. There were some nice little touches - breakfast was not available here, but there were cereal bars and fruit juices in the room just in case we needed sustenance before venturing out ! Good location between Keel and Dooagh to venture out to explore Achill island.
