I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

Great and complete house with a driveway and a nice backgarden. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the back garden - in the sun - watchin the hill, trees and birds. The best location in county Monaghan - central but quiet. Nice extras from the friendly host. Great beds, own kitchen, washing machine and more. I could live here indefinite. :-)

Right in the heart of town, yet a quiet room to stay in. Good size room for 3 or 4 people. Parking for 1 euro per day at the back of the small apartment. Well cleaned. Modern. Coffee and tea facilities. Fro and Co is a great place for good food just a few steps away. McKennas bar is great for a cider or a beer and playing pool. Supermarket very close AND about 25 hairdressers to choose from within 100 yards. Great way to easily enter the front door and room.

Geraldine the host was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was great and the view was lovely. Perfect for staying close to Castle Leslie as it was close to the wedding venue. Would definitely recommend!

Our host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We could reach out with any question or problem, and they were always there to help. They were also very thoughtful — on the day we arrived, there was a big storm, and they sent us a message to remind us to drive carefully because of the weather. The place is quiet and peaceful, the house is very comfortable, clean, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, and we were touched to find some food and snacks waiting for us. The kids loved the treats (well, not just the kids!), thank you so much for that! We’ve travelled to many countries, but we’ve never had such a warm and thoughtful host. Thank you again for everything!
