If you’re hoping to fully submerge yourself in Rural Ireland this is the perfect place to achieve that, its absolutely incredible. Myself and a friend spent the day climbing Croagh Patrick which in itself was a beautiful experience, We arrived to Wooly Hut and were greeted by Edel, she walked us to our accommodation, The views along the trail are absolutely breathtaking! Surrounded by mountainous terrain and as the name suggests - Wooly sheep. The hut itself was more then we expected, it’s perfectly spacious and comfortably allows for two people unwind and relax, with a large double bed and no shortage of hot running water we were in our element! Edel has the kitchenette stocked with tea coffee sugar and cooking condiments. You will also have all the basic convenience item such as shampoo body wash towels and bedding. To our delight there was also a complementary bottle of wine. I highly recommend this property to everyone & can’t wait to be back again!

The property is ideally situated just 10/15 mins from Westport. Apartment was spotless and the owners were genuine people. They were exceptional hosts, they had the sofa bed made up for us as well and the fridge was filled with fresh food for breakfast. The ideal location away from all the hussle an bussel. Calm, quiet and well maintained. Very keenly priced would highly recommend. We hope to visit again in the future.

Stayed on sat night as we were going to Smokie in the TF. The place was spotless. The hosts were so nice & friendly. The breakfast was huge & tasty. Riley the springer spaniel was so cute. The location was ideal close to centre of town & all amenities. A great place to stay if attending gigs in the TF Royal theatre.
