The rooms looked just like in the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and clean - only the stone plate on the sink was not good levelled, so the water was always running down on the right-hand side, when washing hands. And a handheld shower would have been nicer than a stationary one. But that really were only minor issues. The rooms had a view over the gardens, which was very nice and quiet. The hotel, the entrance, the breakfast room and the bar were really nice and we really felt comfortable. We can understand, why this hotel is a good venue for wedding celebrations. The hotel even has lifts, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs (not something every hotel has in Ireland) and a vending machine for mineral water and other things. And last but not least the staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would choose the hotel again when we were in the area.

The best thing was the manger, Mohammed. He made absolute certain that our trip was comfortable (including providing gluten-free bread-Thanks for that), he was there when we needed help with the door lock, and we found him to be profession, friendly, approachable. Not just an excellent worker, but an excellent human being. Everything else was good. The laundry machines were greatly appreciated.

Location was very central and ideal to the town. The host was friendly and carried my bags to the nearby apartment when handing over the keys. Apartment was spacious, spotless and warm. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean, comfortable and presented tastefully to a very high standard. We were in Athlone to visit family and Riverdale is an ideal location, just a short walk from the centre of Athlone. With a fantastic breakfast with so much choice, pubs and restaurants close by you certainly won't go hungry. We shall definitely return next time a family visit is planned.

The hosts were friendly and professional. The breakfast was wonderful and varied with due attention to your needs from the hosts. The location was ideal and quiet. Parking and wifi were great. The room was spotless. I would stay again if in Athlone.
