We stayed at Bucka-lak in early September as a couple and had a wonderful time. The place is charming, peaceful, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. There are good restaurants and coffee spots nearby in Kisvárda. The accommodation is part of an outdoor school, so the rooms are simple rather than premium, but everything is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming. It’s an excellent spot for families, with great fishing opportunities, evening fire grilling, and simply enjoying the beautiful lake. Highly recommended for anyone looking for rest and nature.

It is 1.6km from the closest bus stop. I told them we would come there by bus. Somebody came to pick us up. We were glad because we had big luggage. We could order dinner and breakfast before the day. We had a great dinner and breakfast.
