Warm, welcoming and responsive hosts speaking english and spanish, beautifully decorated house with all details and commodities (fantastic greek wine as a cortesy included), nothing to complain about and much to be gratefull for! The accommodation was just perfect, very clean and equipped with.. everything that a family would need! Even the fireplace was filled with wood ready to fire it up! The location was a bit remote but we liked that. George is a great host and was there when we had issues with the cooker, our ignorance of how it worked not the cooker. The apartment and the facilities are first class.

Τhe place old castle 1 is a new renovated one bedroom apartment with lot of space . Open kitchen with table and all required kitchen amenities. Open living room area with comfortable couch to hang around and watch TV. Nice cozy bedroom with double bed , nice mattress. Bathroom area incl shower . Heating and hot water is provided 24h and makes stay really enjoyable. Parking area inside plot really convenient . Last the host George is very hospitable and friendly . Thank you for everything George.

First of all, it is a hidden gem (in all possible meanings). It is located in the mountain village and even in extreme summer you would find a moderate climate (stream flowing below) around the property. You could hide from direct sun in many (shaded) places, especially in a refreshing pool. We have rented a car so I can't say how easy it is to reach the property without it. But I suggest to go for it and you can then explore surroundings easily. Vasilis is a true "cook" so I strongly recommend you take the opportunity to be introduced to Greek-Macedonian regional cuisine. When you have a good host, it makes half of your vacation... And in our case all ingredients "clicked" together.
