Very clean and small house with its own place to park the car under the shade and a small nice garden. The host welcomed us nicely and even offered local breakfast on the morning. Highly recommended for a stay and the kindness of the host.

I recently stayed at Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa in Mystras in April 2025 and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.

The owner was the most amazing woman ever. She was so caring, she took care to turn on the heat so that we would be warm in the place. She did us the must amazing breakfast with loukoumades and honey and Greek coffee. When we arrived she explained us the water heating system, the bed mattress heating and also gave us information about what we could do in Sparta. Loved staying at her house. Would totally come back just for her.
