The hosts are so welcoming, warm, and just truly beautiful people. I’ve traveled through Svaneti and stayed in many places before, but this is by far the best. Feels like home. The location was so good! The room was a double room with so nice quilt and the beds as well, you’ll sleep as a princess! The dinner, stayed for two nights, was amazing! So tasty and lots too 😊 And the two girls running the place is so friendly and welcoming. Love to come back!

The village of Ushguli is a very special place, we recommend staying there at least one night. Mshvidoba guest house is in the middle of town, making you feel like part of the place for a little bit. Host speaks little English, but she is very very nice (we loved her) and will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. The kids speak English if needed. The bathroom is shared, but we never had to wait to use it. Room is comfortable. We had dinner there one night. Food was good, but it did not seem enough for two people after a whole day of hiking, so we needed to ask for something else, which they provided with no problem. Host can also provide a ride back to Mestia

A nice guesthouse located on the main road – easy to reach by car, yet green, quiet, and close to the center of Ushguli. The family is lovely and very helpful with any questions I had. The rooms aren’t very big, but I had a shelf where I could store all my things. I really appreciated the cleanliness and privacy, as I stayed in a separate house apart from the main family home. It had a fairly large living room with a comfortable sofa, where I could relax and make tea. There’s also a separate, spacious dining room where they serve breakfast and dinner. Sometimes I sat at the small table under the trees in the garden – a very peaceful spot. I was able to use the washing machine, and although Wi-Fi was available, I didn’t use it. The family also offers guided horseback tours. It’s a lovely place to stay in Ushgulii!

Very nice house, great location and very clean. The owners do everything to make you feel like home. The room was new, with own bathroom, which is difficult to find in Ushguli. Breakfast and dinner was also good- more than we could eat 😀 Thank you so much for a wonderful time in beautiful Ushguli ❤️

Great place to stay in Ushguli, delicious breakfasts, of course with warm khachapuri. Great location with a wonderful view of Ushguli and Sahkhra Glacier. Very comfortable beds in which we slept very well. The owner Maya was very helpful, she quickly arranged a cheaper transport to Mestia for us when we found out that our driver was not coming. I highly recommend :)
