We had the apartment at The Lodge at Broadway. It's a spacious 2-bedroom unit with full kitchen and living area, and it was a perfect fit for our party of four. It's wonderfully located in a small courtyard just off the High Street. Many shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. The footpath to the Broadway Tower is just down the street. It's a highly recommended trip for fabulous views even if you don't climb the tower. Bus service to/from the area is no more than 100 meters away. We used it several times. In fact, bus service throughout the Cotswolds was easy to use. Just tap your phone using whatever contactless payment service you choose (Apple or Google Pay) and ride to your destination. There is a small reception at the entrance to the lodge, but during our stay, no one was at the desk. We called the provided number, and a friendly staff member promptly guided us with the access code and instructions. The kitchen is large and equipped for meal prep, although we used it only sparingly. The washer was great, and we were able to wash our clothes at the end of a 5-day walking trip, so we were fresh and clean for our trip back to London. The bedrooms were nicely sized, and the beds were comfortable. A large Co-op is a 5-minute walk. It was great for those little things like toiletries, fresh fruit, and snacks, We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful stay. The house was quiet, cosy (despite the unseasonal snow 🙂), and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed including laundry capsules. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for us to explore the Cotswolds from and Mickleton itself had eating options, a butcher, a small grocery store and the farm shop. Don the host was very receptive when we had questions.

This property is delightful. A very tastefully crafted space in a gorgeous setting. The tiny but adorable kitchen was a bonus, with a spacious fridge, proper sink and handy hob. The entrance hall with underfloor heating and a handy dining table for two is very appealing. The bowl of fresh apples and pears was a welcome treat. The bedroom was large yet low ceilinged and therefore cosy. Plenty of artificial light to compensate for the cottage size window. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and they kindly accommodated our request for an earlier check-in. Would highly recommend for a weekend or longer stay.
