Host Grégoire-so nice and friendly. Lovely family with lots of animals, cat, chickens and rabbit!! He was so accommodating to us. When we arrived he was out and so we went to the pub for 1 drink. He knew we were travelling on small motorbikes and he also got a few calls from the neighbours as they were a bit unusual. Before we got back to check in, he had moved items around in his locked garage and allowed us to park the motorbikes in there. House-beautiful old house that has been renovated in the village. Only a small walk to the main st, with shops, pubs, lovely Italian restaurant and multiple other restaurants and of course the beautiful castle. Room-our room had a view of the castle and the garden, very nice indeed. Big bedroom with a kitchen area off that and then a big shower room after. Kitchen area had everything you would need if you wanted to stay a few days and eat in the room. Breakfast-more than enough food, we struggled to finish. Beautiful bread, croissant, etc. but the jams were delicious and all home made (his mom, neighbour and his own) and also homemade apple juice!!

Fantastic hosts; the very friendly people offered us local products, which were amazing. Quite place perfect for rest and relaxation. The room was spacious, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was lovely with a wide range of options of homemade goods. There was a parking on-site, which is also a bonus.

We had a lovely stop over here on our way down to Spain. Our room was comfortable and there was a lounge/dining room that we could use at all times. We arrived earlier than the normal booking in times but Roland was lovely and didn’t mind at all. We had a lovely meal in the evening cooked by Roland as well as a very good breakfast the next morning. My husband loved the omelet.

Christine is a great host. She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. We loved our stay. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean and easy to find. The private terrace and garden surrounded by lavender was a nice place to sit out in. Plus there was her wonderful pool area. She kindly gave us a bowl of homegrown tomatoes and figs straight off her tree. I had a great massage in her beautiful, relaxing room. It left me feeling so relaxed. We only stayed two nights but wished we had stayed longer. Christine speaks perfect English which made communication very easy. We would absolutely recommend Le Gîte de Lou.

Absolutely spotless, very comfortable and beautiful apartment in a lovely location. The little touches, like ice in the freezer, fan in the bedroom and sheets on the bed instead of duvet due to hot weather we’re very much appreciated.
