It looks much better in reality. The village is very nice, the house is around 100 years old, but nicely renovated inside. You have beautiful mountain views from the windows. Kitchen had it all you need and beds were comfy. Host was super friendly - we even got a nice bottle of Rioja as a gift, when we realised that we did not buy one.

Cozy, clean, and stylish apartment in a beautiful location. I chose this place as part of the trip to Rioja. We took a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed delicious coffee (which can be prepared in a capsule coffee machine) with a view of the mountains. From the window, you can hear birds singing and the river flowing. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable cooking experience. There is a bathroom on each floor. The building has an elevator. You can park your car near the building. The nearest town Ezcaray with infrastructure, shops and restaurants can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The Rioja wineries are about an hour's drive away. It's a pleasant place to stay. Thank you!

Genuinely warm welcome. Arrived just in time for a lovely lunch with local traditional ingredients. Staff could not have been nicer. Great room: no frills but all one needs to be comfortable. Peace. Quiet. Impressive natural surroundings. Contemplative and truly spiritual sanctuary. Enjoyed our attempts at the Valvanera Walking Trail in spite of weather and rain cutting it short on two occasions. Would definitely stay longer another time.

Juan looked after us from the minute we arrived. He gave us indications for everything we might needed. The rooms where fantastic, far better than the pictures, and in the morning there's a continental breakfast at the bar.
