This converted monastery is located 100 metres from the Guadalquivir River in the Sierra de Cazorla Mountains. It has 28 hectares of Mediterranean forest containing an outdoor pool and a tree house.

Lovely setting however the staff Juan, louis(chef) Carlos and María were lovely and they would be the reason for my return

All great overall, good base for exploring the area for a few days and a good place to retreat to when you need to recuperate! Staff always really nice, decent room, anytime we had food or drink we always enjoyed including a breakfast spread that set you up for a days walking, of course the location is stunning!

The proprietor was warm and friendly. He demonstrated the use of the keys throughout the property,showed us where light switches were, and was obviously very proud of his property. The shared kitchen was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Our room was different from the one shown. Despite not having a bath, we had a perfectly adequate bathroom with a great shower. All the linens and soft furnishings were beautiful. I have not often stayed anywhere, so amazingly clean and cared for. We didn't use the patio, but it was spotless and allowed stunning rooftop and mountain views. The house is situated approx 10 minutes walk downhill from the main square. We enjoyed following the red ruta around town. Street parking was easy in Feb.

The room was very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and thoughtful. The restaurant food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Great value for money and a good location - not too far from the centre and close to La Iruela village. Very friendly and helpful staff. Worth spending a bit extra for a room with a balcony.
